Work Description: home theater installation

Comments: I asked All-Star Electrical Services to do a number of sizable jobs around my new home, and I could not be happier with their service, quality, professionalism, and value. The two projects were mounting a large television and rewiring my home theater components to get the wiring out of view, including a 5.1 audio system with hidden speaker wires for the surrounds. It was a large job, requiring about 24 person-hours to complete. By the time they were done, the television was mounted and the home theater set up was complete and operational. I also asked them to install a number of high hats in three rooms, install a ceiling fan, and redo some wiring around the house. Each phase of the operation was done with professionalism and quality. Everyone was polite and kind, and they met or exceeded my expectations. To give one example, at one point we noticed that one speaker was slightly off-center, and Erjon took the time to adjust it literally a matter of about an inch. It is clear that their goal is for the customer to be completely satisfied. The cost was exactly what they had initially estimated, and they finished in less time than they promised. I consider their prices to be very reasonable given the amount of work that the size of the job. Not only would I use All-Star again, I don't think I would consider using anyone else when my needs in this area arise. They have my recommendation without reservations.

Work Description: pool wiring

Comments: They responded to my email inquiry within 1 minute. Although the website claims to offer free estimates, I was told on the phone it would be $25 to come out. They made an appointment convientient for me, came out on time and the service technician was very polite, immediately introduced himself and had a uniform on. However, once he got there, he waived the $25, and quoted $182 just to trouble shoot. We were not experiencing any issues, but were following up on a tip from a neighbor who did not think our wiring was set up correctly out by our pool. For peace of mind, I agreed. But I wish I had been told up front it would be that expensive to trouble shoot. He wound up giving me 10% off, so the total bill was "only" $164. And the best news he did not find anything wrong with our set up, except a white wire that should have been a red wire. But he took me back and explained everything to me in detail, showing me exactly what he reviewed. I felt like he was honest and I would definitely call them again if I experience any electrical issue. Just now I'll know there's no free estimate (I think they should take that off their website) it'll be more than $25 service call they tell you about on the phone (I think they should just be honest about how much it costs to troubleshoot an issue when they make the appointment.) I debated putting 3 or 4 stars here, but since I can't put a half star, and I would call them again, I put 4 stars. Especially since they did not find anything really wrong, I feel like I can trust them.

Comments: The electrician was very professional, courteous and took the time to do extra things like pulling out my stove and oven to see if everything was right. He showed me why my ellectric box was a fire hazard and he found a code violation with my garbage disposal. He was extremely patient and careful when hanging a chandelier in my foyer. Comments: They arrived 2 hours early on a weekend unannounced. But they did their best to match a lower bid on the job and they promptly completed the work as requested. Although they were early to the job and were not the lowest bid, they were professional, had a display panel truck, came equipped to complete the job and are licensed and insured. They did professional quality work. Good deal overall.

Work Description: Added switch and corrected wiring for a ceiling fan.

Comments: Erjon came right out and corrected the wiring for my ceiling fan. The price was reasonable and he is very helpful and friendly. About two weeks after the switch was installed, we had an issue with the switch not working due to a defect (not the installation). Erjon came out that day and fixed it at no charge. I would highly recommend All-star for electrical work.
