Work Description: He upgraded my 2 wiring to 3 wiring grounded for 4 receptacles, so now I can protect my electronics. He added surge protection on Electric Panel to protect the whole house from surges. Added a dedicated circuit in my office. And then he added a bathroom fan. I'm happy with the results.
Comments: You see, I just bought a house which was built in 1968, which means it had the old 2 wiring circuits in the house and were not grounded. My house inspector told me that if I wanted to use my computers and electronics, I would need to upgrade to a 3 wire grounded system to protect it for a few receptacles in the house. I called two companies. Jeremy, the owner first came to give me a quote. I had asked another company from Angieslist to come as well. Jeremy's quote was very competitive. My biggest concern was: Price, Expertise, and Quickness So I was looking for an electrician that knew his or her work well. Jeremy knew his stuff well and I saved money in the end with him. The other company quoted me around $1300 to do the above work, Jeremy gave it to me for $1070. Zoom forward to March 7th. He arrived the time he said he would arrived and worked throughout the day. I was there at the house because the roofers were there as well. One thing that stood out to me was his honesty and wasn't trying to sell me stuff as the other company was. He even pointed out to me on my electric panel a possible fire hazard. Instead of charging me extra, he lessened the hazard, which was nice of him to do. As promised, he spent all day from 10AM till 6PM with a short lunch break, working on my house. He upgraded my 2 wiring to 3 wiring grounded for 4 receptacles, so now I can protect my electronics. He added surge protection on Electric Panel to protect the whole house from surges. Added a dedicated circuit in my office. And then he added a bathroom fan. I'm happy with the results. He also spent about an hour cleaning up after his mess; talk about professionalism there. As usual I would recommend you to get several quotes on bigger projects from several companies. However, I'd highly recommend Jeremy's services if you're looking for someone who is on time, competitive rates, isn't gonna try to sell you fancy services that you don't need, and is trustworthy.
