Work Description: I had Neighborhood Electric handle all the electric work for my large scale kitchen remodel. Basically we had to rewire & relocate ever single electrical item in our kitchen from lighting, outlets and appliances. These guys couldn't have been easier to deal with. Great personalities and workmanship. Always showed up when they said they would and went above and beyond. I already have recommended this company to family and will in the future call them first for my electrical needs.

Work Description: Installed 2 circuit breakers and electrical lines

Comments: I called Lenny mid morning and he rescheduled an existing appointment to assess my issue that same day. He gave me an estimate over the phone and after assessing the issue in person, came in pretty close to the estimate! He was able to start working the same day and completed the job within 3 hours. He fully explained why I was experiencing the issue I had and recommended several options to address the situation. He was willing to perform either task and explained each in detail leaving the decision entirely up to me. I opted for the full fix. I HIGHLY recommend Lenny and Neighborhood Electric and will use him in the future for my electrical needs.

Work Description: Re-fed three outlets, intalling splice box for the existing wires.

Comments: Lenny charges for the estimate around $90 if we don't use them. So it's not a free estimate. He told us that this would be a big project and it might take at least 6 to 10 hours, and he needs to do more troubleshoots. With lots of labour to be involved and matrials, the whole cost is $700 as he told us he would cut the holes in the sheerrock and do some patches and paint. But he did not show up to fix instead of two guys by using his instructions in paper. They finish in less than 2 hours and did not touch the sheerrock at all. So Lenny knew very well how and what to do, but he lied to us he needed to do more troubleshooting. He did not even show up! What's the troubleshooting he told us that he would do? $700 to fix the three outlets and put the new splice box is too much! Anyway we wish he can use the money to have a happy holiday! To us, honesty is the most important factor in businessman. Without honesty, they can only earn onetime money for the service from the customer. We will not go back to him!

Comments: I called Lenny late evening and even though he was with a customer as I called, he answered the phone. He took the time to listen to a description of the issue and steps taken thus far, offered his advice as well as to come by that evening; even though he had scheduled appointments he still had to meet, he was willing to extend his day to come investigate. I was overjoyed that he was willing to come late that night since electrical issues make me very nervous. Lenny checked out the situation and offered a temporary fix and then the big picture fix. He was willing to perform either task and explained each in detail leaving the decision entirely up to us. We opted for the fix vs. temporary solution, which he scheduled around our availability for the next day. An associate of Lenny’s, who was as knowledgeable and courteous, came to do the work next day. The entire job was done quickly and the result was impeccable. I HIGHLY recommend Neighborhood Electric and will use them in the future for all of our electrical needs.

Comments: Lenny responded promptly to my email request late in the evening. He offered to visit my house immediately, if necessary. Since that was not required he provided his experience in troubleshooting over the phone. He listened to the problem and offered his thoughts as to what the problem might be, what to do to try to isolate it and how to fix it. He was concerned about the issue, as even small electrical problems could prove hazardous. His professional, concerned approach provided me with the info necessary to find and fix my problem and avoided leaving a potentially dangerous situation unattended through the evening and into the next day. I recommend contacting him for electrical work and will do so myself in the future. Thank you Lenny.
