Work Description: Initial call out was to have rental unit inspected to determine if wiring needed to be upgraded. Omar (Quick Action)was able to point out that someone was illegally using our electricity by running some wires from the main box outside. I asked what the cost would be to remove those wires.
Comments: First, technician Omar arrived late. He called to say he was 10 min behind schedule but took him longer to arrive. Omar did not have necessary tools to access the job - No flashlight. He did not look at the AC unit nor take the plate off the fuse box to determine which wire was attached to the A/C unit (Fuse box was not labeled as to what goes to what). After Omar pointed the illegal wires, I asked what the cost would be to remove those wires. He provided a price but advised he would have to send out a different technician to actually remove the wire. As we departed the rental building, it still had not been determined when his technician would come out and remove the wires. I called Omar later this day and he said he would get back with me. Well, the next morning I had not heard from Omar so I called "Light it up Electric" to go out and remove the wires. When the technician from Light it up arrived, he said the wires were gone. The next day, I heard from Omar and he then told me that he had sent out his technichain to remove the wires and he would be faxing over the bill. I was a little disturbed that Omar sent out the technician but did not let me know the technician was going out to remove the wires. Overall, Quick Action Electric was ok.
