Comments: White's Electric came to my home and told me they could not install the ceililng fan I wanted installed. There is not enough room between my vaulted ceiling and the roof of the annex to my home. I never heard from the other three companies.

Work Description: Repair damage to wiring due to hurricane Ike remnants. Install new meter stack, new line up to IPLs connection, new wire to breaker box, & upgrade service.

Comments: Very quick to contact me after I requested a quote and met me at 7:30 the next morning. On the phone, he had said that he thought the total would be $300-$800. When he came out, he indicated that the job would take more pipe and wire and the total would be $1130. Originally, he was going to start the next morning but had an employee in the hospital and called me that afternoon to postpone until the next morning, which was completely understandable. The guys are polite, quick and easy to talk to. The only thing that I didn't like was that the job took less time than originally estimated and less pipe yet the total amount due did not change. I didn't think about it until after they left. I appreciated the way they worked my job into their schedule, as we were unable to stay in the house without electricity.
